Problem with wifi connection.Wifi with android, no wifi with Windows 8

If I have the wifi in android on, when I swich to Windows 8 the sistem can't connect with the wifi net. I have to come back to the android sistem, switch off the wifi, and when I came back to windows, then I connect to the wifi net with no problems.

Anyone else with the same issue?

    Thanks

That's odd; there has to be a conflict in setup. Check this and if you have to; delete all setups on WiFi and do it again.

Seems pb already reported by 2 others.

    Problem with wifi

For me it should be a router pb, check router status for pad and dock.

I would try separating pad and dock, also check MAC addresses and netbios names on pad and dock are not identical..

Smiler, it doesn't happen to you? I thought it was a general problem, I try as you mentioned to change NetBios Name, on PC and still have the issue. I think it is related to some problem with asus pc tool but I am not sure, if you have any other idea? About the router, I try at home, office and other places and happens the same. Stays connected a coupled of minuts and disconects after that, it even looses the pass key of wifi router

    Thanks

I have no problems, works great, pad and dock wifi.

Try wifi with dock with vga display and pad separated.

I had to install pc tool from asus support, was not in my win8 build. It works as I backed up pad from Dock over usb.

My wifi is 'n' WPA2-AES with a shared key and not WPS.

    dock win8 wifi driver 2010.9.906.2013
    pad build is 2011-11-11

    good luck

Just got my new Asus Trio and have the same issue with black screen that requires to wait up to 10 minutes to wake up in Win 8 and impossible to use WiFi in both, Tablet and PC at the same time. Also Windows 8 forgets the wifi key if wifi connection was established in the Tablet. I am thinking in returning my product as I am in the two weeks warranty with the store. Any thoughts?
