Win10 upgrade on T100 32GB? Regret not getting 64GB t100? Experiences, pros and cons.

There's already a thread for general T100 win10 upgrade. But us 32GB'ers have it tough and are a special case.

I usually hold off 6 months on these kinds of upgrades, but I accidentally clicked something and now the stupid machine is downloading win10. Should I upgrade, I'm asking myself?

    1)Pros/cons?

2)What's your experience of upgrading been?

    3)Regrets?

    4)anything I haven't thought of?

After removing the Windows 8 files etc, I had approximately 7GB of extra free space after upgrading. So it's a good thing if you're short on space.

(You can install via USB if you don't even have enough space for the downloaded files - I did it this way.)

    1. Disk cleanup happens much faster. Don't like the dumbed down Control Panel but you can get to all the old config screens. Don't like the dependence on a Microsoft account, e.g. sign in screen mandatory, but 8.1 was like that, too. Don't like privacy issues and not setting Windows Update to manual.
    2. Upgrading was easy. I had 9 gb free space and did it though the icon. I've heard of as low as 5 gb free led to a successful upgrade. I also gained about 8 gb after disk cleanup and Window.old deletion for total of 15 gb free.
    3. No regrets but I hear problems can arise out of the blue (stability issues?)

Don't regret getting the 32 gb as I only use it lightly for email and forum reading.

I believe you can still use a local account, in 8.1 or 10?

Yes, you can run Windows 10 on a local account, and still use your One Drive account.

I was took care of the autologon by doing this:
    Turn on automatic logon

I didn't want to make more users and complicate things for an older user. It seems updates remove this setting as I've had to do it a couple of times now.
