I figured. From what I can gather, the build released on July 29 will be like a snapshot in time build since microsoft intends to add features to windows 10. I'm curious as to to how microsoft will distinguish between "versions."

I'm very close to installing the preview builds on my main machine but I'm waiting for the next one that roles out to the slow ring.

The upgrades will be in-place and Windows update will provide an option to also upgrade if you wish. It will install based on the version of 7 or 8.1 you are running and the rep said he "thinks" you will get a new SN. But he isn't sure. He wasn't sure about a couple other things that were asked about either.

He's a nice enough guy but was mostly working from a script.

I have my vendor testing an issue I ran into with the in-place upgrade on one of my systems that was on 8.1 The recovery partition was 100MB and 10 would not install as an upgrade unless it had a larger partition. Word is on the Internet that it needs 300MB. In my case 200MB worked but it took some juggling.

Space used on the recovery partition was 60MB before the upgrade and 80MB after but it apparently needs some workspace in the partition to do its thing.

On my desktop I got the option to reserve the free Windows 10 update.

But nothing yet on my T100TA.
Did any of you get the reservation option yet on the T100TA or will it come later?

Got it this morning after running Windows update. Then I rebooted and it still wasn't there. Came back an hour later and there was a large Taskbar icon sitting there waiting to be tapped.

Got it on my 2 Win7 machines (desktop & laptop) & just looked at the T100, it's there now, but wasn't there earlier today.

Still no iso download for 10122, latest iso is 10074.

UPDATE: 10130 iso file showed up the night of Friday the 5th of June. Did not use Windows Update to download & install. Burned the iso to a flash drive & ran the setup.exe from within 10074 Windows 10. Used the same flash drive on a 2nd test machine.
