Stuck on ASUS splash screen after flashing ROM
Hello,
I was running the stock ROM, but decided to flash the Energy ROM. I first flashed the JB.4.2.1.Bootloader.and.partitions.zip and then the new ROM. However after rebooting it just got stuck at the ASUS splash screen. After several unsuccessful attempts I flashed back to the JB.4.1.1.Bootloader.and.partitions.zip and restored by backup, only for it get stuck in the ASUS splash screen again. I tried to flash the stock 4.1.1 from ASUS, but TWRP says "failed" every time along with any other custom 4.1.1 ROMs I try! I can't get anywhere.
Can anyone help me? I can have still access to fastboot and TWRP. I have been searching forums for days with no luck.
Edit: the only time I've gotten past the splash screen is if i flash the JB.4.2.1.Bootloader.and.partitions.zip then restore my stock 4.1.1 backup, but then it just hangs in the boot animation. I tried hen to flash the 4.1.1 stock over it only for TWRP to say it has failed.

I don't know the answer but I've moved your thread to the Transformer Prime ROM section where it should get a response soon.

I've had ROMs hang before if I didn't do a factory rest/wipe before flashing the new ROM. Your post doesn't say if you tried that. Beyond that I'm no help, sorry. Good Luck!

When you flash a bootloader/partitions it wipes everything

I would do the wipe manually, you may be surprised.

I have. Ive done a system, cache, and data format. each countless times. There was even an advanced option in TWRP to a different type of formatting which I also tried.

I would do the following.
Wipe Cache/Data
Flash
Wipe Cache/Data
Fix Permissions
Boot

Boot
Cleared data & cache
installed 4.1.1 bootloader & partition ... which again wipes EVERYTHING even system/ROM
rebooted
Cleared data and cache
Restored Backup because TWRP still wont let me install any ROMs(says failed)
Rebooted into Recovery
Cleared data and cache
Tried to fix permissions(btw you cant fix permissions after a factory reset)
Still nothing. Still stuck on ASUS splash screen. Still cant get to the boot animation.
