Angry NEW Logitech Android Mouse (Bluetooth) crashes my Transformer Prime when I pair

Tried to pair it.. When i put in the "0000" pin. and hit ok, the tablet restarts EVERY time!

When i restarts, the mouse shows as a "paired device" although it will not connect (the bluetooth icon stays silver/gray). Then, it will not unpair.

Turned off the mouse, tried to unpair. It will not unpair.

Restart tablet, try to unpair. Successfully unpairs this time.

Try to re-pair the mouse, put in the pin, hit ok, crashes the tablet AGAIN !

Tried everything i can think of. Multiple sets of different kinds of batteries in the mouse. Multiple tablet restarts. Making sure there is no interference with other devices....

HERE IS A YOUTUBE VID I POSTED ON IT.. >>> Logitech Android Mouse crashes my Asus Prime when I pair - YouTube

Everyone else seems to like this mouse a lot!! I got mine brand new and unopened, please Help me !!!!

Have you tried a cold boot? (power off, then when powering back on hold the volume down and power button until you see the bootloader screen, release the buttons and don't touch anything until it restarts)

If that doesn't work, I know it sounds like a pain in the butt, but you can try a factory data reset and see if that gets the cobwebs out. I don't have a prime or a bluetooth mouse to try this with, but it definately shouldn't be doing that and it looks like other devices pair just fine.

thanks for your reply, bfmetcalf, i ended up having to do a factory reset to correct the problem. Must have been an application interference. Works great now.
