I got a broken (fell down) Prime for free and now I try my best to fix it.
After disassembling the Prime I noticed that the LCD plus the Touch screen glass was broken.
I thought the plastic frame (wich holds the LCD-Screws) comes with the touch screen glass - well I got the glass today and no frame - do you know where to get it? I think its not even possible to buy it :/
I still got the old one but its broken at two spots..
I also ordered a replacement screen via Ebay (No. 180943753086) but after the seller told me he received the payment and sent the item I asked for the tracking-no. and he told me he made a mistake.. he didn't send the item and now its out of stock :/ full refund but no screen.
I found three shops that offer the (i think) correct lcd-screen, I wrote them an email to be sure its on stock and its the 30-pin version - I will post the results of course.
After installing the glass I got today (Ebay 221073175378), I noticed the x-axis is inverted.. crap! I already wrote a message to the seller and he told me to reinstall and double-check everything.
I don't see any way to put in the plugs/cables wrong..
edit: I'm currently using the microHDMI for testing!
I bailed out and now got a TF700 - apart from the better screen it also seems like they added more thickness to the glass (and it is now Gorilla glass 2), so hopefully it is able to withstand daily use better.
I still have the TF201 ready for a new LCD if there will be a driver fix for the touch screen "bug".
I have exactly the same problem - broken touchscreen and damaged LCD during disassemble the tablet. I've bought touchscreen replacement on ebay, but first seller send me some smaller touchscreen and now i've got the inverted one. It took about two months to get this crap!!!
The only way to invert the x-axis is to patch touchscreen driver, i've done it, recompile new kernel and now need working lcd to flash it. Can you post link where did you find Hannstar LCD?
And i think it is *edit* that original touchscreens have different versions.
It arrived (after 14 days hong kong -> germany) and it was very well packed. I checked all screw-holes and stuff an - it's the matching one, this one fits (and works)!
I'm actually waiting for my second digitizer as the first one was x-axis-inverted and I sent it back (other seller).. I'll get it tomorrow and i hope its the right one, too.
Does anybody know where to get the black plastic frame that holds together digitizer & LCD? I still got mine but its broken and I would like to use a new one!

Reason: forgot the link
The problem being discussed here is not with the LCD it is with the digitizer.
Where did you buy your new digitizer that does not have the inverted X axis?
Good news. I finally received LCD and assembled my TF201. Patched kernel works perfectly with this inverted touchscreen. I'll try to post instructions and kernel image till weekend.
Thanks for the update, please post the process you used to patch the kernel and the update.
I am expecting delivery of my new digitizer in the the next couple of days.
