Factory reset causes Clockworkmod recovery window to come up on re-boot... every time

    Hi all,

I have a TF201 running Virtuous Prime and before handing it over to my grandson I did a factory reset.

Now it boots straight into Clockworkmod recovery v5.8.2.0 and no matter what I do it just re-boots to the same screen. I can't even turn it off.

Please can anybody help - bearing in mind that I have no technical knowledge at all?

    Thank you.

Go to this link and follow the instructions for a 1a brick. You should be fine.

And from now on. If you have a custom recovery installed, only wipe data from the recovery, not the ROM or you will have issues.

    @ ncphoto:-

Thank you for that - it worked perfectly. As you might guess, I was in a bit of a panic

    @ bfmetcalf:-

I did a normal factory reset from within the settings page. As far as I am / was aware, that should only clear the data? Thanks for the heads-up however.
