Angry Cursor jumps away from intended position

The cursor, when typing eMail keeps jumping to all other places. After three four tries it comes and stays in position required. Is this happening only on my TF201?

There is a button on the dock (I think I've heard it is the 4th from one end) that turns the track pad off. The problem when this happens is usually because your palm interferes with the trackpad and moves the cursor around.

It is called WILD THUMB SYNDROME

As bfmetcalf pointed out, 4th button from the left on the top row of keys is the cure!

Re: Cursor jumps away from intended position

Oh, I assumed you were using the keyboard dock, not a virtual keyboard.

Does it happen when using other keyboards, or just when using the touchscreen, or is it just SwiftKey?

Also, do you have Swiftkey 3, or Swiftkey 3 TABLET?

Is this happening in Chrome? If so, this is a known issue listed on the description in the Play Store.

Can you tell more about how you discovered that it was a SwiftKey problem, and how you solved the problem on your tablet?

The cursor jumps around on my infinity, causing unwanted actions, even when I am nowhere near the screen. Then, the screen is unresponsive at times for no obvious reason. Would appreciate learning more about your experience. Thanks.
