    Question Micro SD card Problem.

First of all, i'm sorry for my bad (maybe very bad ....) english. I tried my best but if there is any fault in grammer, plz, correct me

I bought a TF201 two weeks ago. And i inserted a Micro SD card 32gb Kingston to my device yesterday.

When i restart my tablet, it seems like okay when a notification appear in the screen "Preparing external storage..." , but the problem is here: the notification is pop-up in just 1 second then disappear.

And i cant enter my micro sd card. I go to setting -> storage and only see Internal storage 32gb.

Then i go to file manager and cant see anything about micro sd card.

I think the format of my micro sd card is wrong, or something wrong ? Cuz the tablet regconized something inserted in it so i can say there is nothing wrong about the device, isn't it ?

    Help me plz

Welcome to the forum. Do you see an icon -- looks like a card image - bottom right... after "preparing external storage" the icon should be there. Click on the card image and it should open the stock file manager and display the contents of the card. To remove the card click on the red x icon and a message will appear "safely removed..."

I tried to turn off and then restart the tablet but it doesn't work .

I go to setting -> storage. When i scroll down i can see the tab "microsd" and the line "mount external storage". When i click on the line "mount external storage", the pop-up icon show "preparing external storage" in 1 second then disapeaer

You can't format the card using the Transformer as far as I know.

Correct: Google removed formatting with Honeycomb. Did not re-instate it with ICS, and it's unlikely to be in Jelly Bean.

So far, nobody has risen to the challenge, and written a format app for Android.

Edit: yet another fruitless search for an app that will let you format your SD card in Android. Several "manage SD card" apps, none of which include formatting.

You will have to format it in a PC, best format is NTFS.
