    Dock causing start problem?

I recently received the dock for my TF201. Mostly it works very well. My problem is that if I leave the tf201/dock charging over night, it won't turn on in the morning. I have to hold down the on/off button for about 30 seconds and do a reboot--the tablet/dock will then work well for the rest of the day. The next morning the same thing happens. This only happens when I charge the tf201 with the dock attached. Anyone seen this problem?

I have a similar issue with mine while docked. I bought a keyboard a couple weeks ago, and haven't really had any issues with just the tablet itself. However when I docked it with the keyboard if I leave it sit overnight for a couple days, it won't turn on. After doing a little bit of troubleshooting I discovered that it's completely draining the batteries in both the tablet and keyboard. After plugging the charger in and letting it charge for a while, I can turn it on. Normally I have to do a cold reboot (hold the power button in) to get it to come back on after it's charged.

So for whatever reason the tablet is not going to "sleep" and just sucking down the batteries. This obviously shouldn't happen, however I don't know of a setting to change to keep this from happening. I can leave just the tablet sit idle for days and week or two if not longer without any issues.

    Any comments/suggestions?

    Thanks
    Josh

After reading the tutorial, it looks like I haven't been doing a cold boot. I will give a "cold boot" a try to see if that fixes the issues with the dock.

    Thanks

I have the same problem, tablet always shuts down after its charged via the keyboard, but with the keyboard attached when left for several hours it does not have a problem with any 'fast' battery drain at all. It always boots up correctly after the shut down by pressing the start button for upto 15 secs. I have done cold re-boots in the past and it appears to have had no effect on this shutdown problem
