Question TF201 - USB Device Not Recognized

Okay so for the past couple months I haven't been able to connect my prime to a computer. I keep getting USB device not recognized. I have tried to set it to both connectivity options for USB and neither one work. I've tried 2 different connectors and tried connecting both the dock and the tablet directly. Seems to be a software malfunction on the tablet itself (have tried connecting to 3 different PCs too).

I've updated the drivers on all PCs I've tried. Anyone have any ideas on this?

It could have happened when I updated it to the latest firmware (OTA), but not sure.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks!

Derkk50 , Try installing ASUS PC Suite (Which include the driver and ASUS sync) and let us know.

DrMightSnake, No luck there. Had installed this already, but just for grins, uninstalled/reinstalled, same error (Unknown Device under Serial Bus Controllers in Device Manager.

First try a cold boot. Then I'd uninstall and reinstall drivers on PC. If that fails uninstall the drivers on PC and install drivers from this link. Some users have better results with these drivers.
As a last resort you can try a factory reset, and if that fails you may have a hardware problem.

Can you see the unknown device in the device manager in windows? if so grab some drivers from one of the root tools and update the drivers using those in device manager see if that works as a last resort.
