Internet Connectivity Error....again! Has anyone got a solution ?
When I try to install Asus ' PC Suite on my PC it immediately reports an internet connectivity error' and stops dead. Looking through the Forums I am clearly not the first person to encounter this error message. So I duly downloaded the apps directly as .exe files etc and that experiences just the same problem. I am using a fast wireless connection and tried with firewall and anti-virus turned off. (I got splashtop the same way and this did load)
Has anyone else bumped into this particular falvour of the problem, and found an answer?

Have this problem myself, still unsolved unfortunately.

I have had this same problem for months now. Tried all posted solutions. Just poor wifi reception on the TF. That is my conclusion. Also it is the only negative thing I can say about the TF 101. Other than that, it is a great device!

Thanks all. At least it leaves me feeling less like I have missed something obvious. I am sure it isn't the wifi though - as we speak I have 40 mbps which should be enough! The Asus docuentation is poor so I wonder if the drivers were designed for Windows 7 and simply don't work on my old XP system.

Yes, dammit, I have the same thing. I've been trying to install driver updates and the whole PC Suite thing since the first day I had my TP201. I'm really getting PO'd, as I feel that I'm failing to get the whole experience. All I really want is for my Windows 7 desktop PC to be able to recognize my TP so that I can get some files back and forth between them. But also it would be nice to be able to have remote access to my PC and to be able to use My Cloud. These are, after all, features of the device. They should freaking WORK, man!

I have this problem with Windows 7 - not with Windows XP. This is using the same home network.
The install/download aborts at 69.46%.
I am in contact with Asus - but no suggestions yet.
Anyone else any ideas?
