Downloading photos from sd card to asus tp & saving on tp any . Can anyone help .

Can anyone please help me to download my sd card onto TP and save them on TP. All that is happening when I put sd card into Tp is they show up on screen but when I pull sd card out the screen goes blank. Is there a simple way that I can save these to TP and delete any photos that I don't want. A step by step instruction would be much appreciated as I'm new to all this. I' am going overseas end of this month & want to be able to store photos on eepad. Any help please.

Open the app called File Manager and tap on micro SD card or SD card, which ever one has your pictures. Then put a check mark in the box of the folder with the pictures in it that you want copied to your Transformer and press the Copy button at the top of the page. Then tap on "Internal Storage" over on the left hand column and press on paste button at the top of the page. Repeat this for all the folders that you need copied.

    Welcome to the forum

As Mickey says, this is just a matter of copying the pictures from your SD card onto the internal memory of your Prime. He has explained how to do this. I would add that you might find it helpful to always copy them into the Pictures folder, creating sub folders under this main one.

Additionally, let me recommend QuickPic to you as a superb free app for viewing. It is far superior to Gallery.
