Question Flash not working on Prime w/ICS

Doesn't seem to matter which browser I use, Foxfire, ASUS, Chrome. Although I've got the latest Flash (11.1) loaded, sites with Flash don't seem to recognize that it is there. I've left a technical report with ASUS (on 2/12) I've not yet heard back from them.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

Have you tried uninstalling flash from the market and re-installing it, or checking for updates. That is usually the cause.

Thank you for the suggestion. I had not done an uninstall/install and that did make some difference. It still acts the same way for Chrome and Foxfire (assume that is an Android/specific browser limitation right now?) but the ASUS browser seems to handle Flash - to some extent. Now when it starts a Flash file it often starts with only the audio track going and then, eventually brings up the video (then, if I back it up, I can get the video from the start) - or in some other cases, never gets the video going at all. Absolutely don't know what to make of that! So, it is better than it was - a bit.

    Many thanks again,
    Ced

Flash works fine for me. Audio and video. Chrome and Firefox do not support Flash.

    Any update on this issue?

I have similar issues with websites that utilize Flash. Those sites work fine prior to ICS and now flickers like crazy.

Please share any update that you may have on this issue or if you have heard back from Asus.

I have also uninstalled and installed Flash 11 many times without any luck. I wish I could go back to Flash 10.3 as that was the last known version that worked for me. When I first purchased the TF201 - everything was perfect. Now that ICS was forced down my throat with Flash 11, I have a $500 peace of sh$$$ in my hands.

I have the same issue with Firefox and Dolphin Browsers, but I downloaded Opera, free from the Android Market, and it works fine with that one.

Firefox doesn't support flash. What particular dolphin browser are you using? The Dolphin for Pad browser seems to be not yet optimized for ICS.
