SD Card not read after update

A few items:
- After the last firmware update on My transformer Prime my Micro sd card files do not show up when I plug in the card. It used to work before the update but now the card does not show up on the lower bar on the screen or when I go to it in the file manager it doesn't show any files. Has anyone run into this. I updated my firmware on 20 Feb 2012.
- Also since I updated when i turn my prime off with the on/off switch it no longer asks me whether I want to shut down. It just seems to go into hibernation mode. i.e. when I push the power button on again it comes on instantly. (no vibration).

How can i completely turn off my prime. I can't to seem to find a setting to change it back to the way it was.

Have you tried restarting completely via a cold start. Hold the power button down long enough for a restart. If that doesn't change any of your symptoms you can try a hard reset using the instructions in a link below. Report back.

Thanks. I did a cold start and it came back. I also found the transformer FAQ online and it answered some other questions I had also. As you can tell I am a newbie to this tablet business.
Hopefully things will go smooth from here
