    from GK at Asus:
"A full power on cycle meant an actual unit shutdown (not sleep) and restart after the update."
so I had done that correctly. It still shutdown.

I did a cold boot and the problem seems to have disappeared. I had the tablet sit docked and not charging all day yesterday with no reboots, and then undocked all night and no reboots. I did have a reboot the night before before doing a cold boot with the new firmware. Maybe try that? It also seems to be working better for a lot of people.

glad it worked for you and I hope it has solved the issue for you permanently, but unfortunately I am well beyond that.

at this point we're at complete data wipe. it has lasted 18 hours without shutting down but it always lasted a little while after a factory reset but then it would happen again even without installing any of my own apps. the only difference this time (other than .13 of course) is that they had me update the preinstalled apps that the market was requesting to be updated.

Im still getting the screen turn on and the battery usage shows 2 drops to zero so I feel its only a matter of time. hopefully asus can pinpoint what is causing it, good to know they are working on it at least.

I am having the same problem. After reading your threads on this matter, and doing my own cold boot, factory reset, data wipe, uninstalling all apps to the bare minimum as I got it the first day, which was a week ago and the day I got the Prime, where I quickly went to update to ICS. A week ago, everything was running perfectly just fine. I notice that the problem occurred RIGHT after the firmware update, which was on 2/8/12. It HAS to be the firmware that is causing this battery misreading, thus causing the Prime to shut down. It's really ticking me off, and I'm 100% sure that it's the firmware is the cause and the effect is the battery meter.

Reading everybody else's issue, I am seeing a pattern, and I have the screen shot that are very similar to others who are experiencing the shutdown after sleep mode.
