    microSD card stuck?

I inserted a microSD card and it inserted too far i think. Doesn't look like my tf201 recognizes it either. What do I do?

    Thanks, Diane

Welcome to the forum, you do know that you need to press the MicroSD Card in until it clicks, and to remove it, push it in even further until it clicks again, then remove your finger and it should spring back out enough to get hold of

Sounds like you put it in the wrong way up maybe ?

Try using a set of tweezers to get hold of it and pull it out

There was another thread about this. It sounds like to me that the card isn't in the correct slot. What I mean is that it's easy to not get the card in straight,so then it doesn't get to that spring loaded phase.

You have to make sure that the card is parallel with the screen. It should go in easily until it's sticking out about a quarter of an inch. Then you should be able to click it into place.

As far as removing your card in it's present condition, I have no idea.

It sounds like you are actually above the slot for the card. Get a flashlight and look in the slot area. If you see a metal slot below (towards the back of the TFP) you are actually above the card slot. I had some initial problems with mine and took a good look with a flashlight before I understood the actual card slot is is towards the back.
    Good luck.

I did it too. I had turn it off, lay it on a mouse pad face down, got out a magnifing glass and a very small pointed tool (like an eyeglass screw driver) and dug into the cards surface to get a grip then pulled it out. Pick at it like this be as gentle as you can be you'll get out. Just don't panic.

Yes you are right it is above the spring, best buy said they may have to take it apart to get it out, wish there were better manual instructions for stuff like this with warnings, lessons learned :-(

This happened to me on the prime I just returned. I inserted the card (correctly) and it went in very nicely, and I noted that it didn't stick out, which I was happy with. But the transformer didn't recognize it. Pushed it in to try to remove it, but it wouldn't spring back. It was still visible however, so I used an exacto knife to grab the edge of it, and pulled it out to where i thought it should be sitting. It recognized the card, and allowed me to access the data on it at this point. I had to use the exacto knife to fully remove the card. The problem was definitely that the spring was missing, broken, or out of alignment.
