I was having the same problem (micro sd card was hard to insert and it became stuck) until I realized that there is a plastic micro sd plug, if you will, in the micro sd port. I'm guessing it's to protect the port. I was shoving my micro sd card in on top of the plug and that's why it was not going in easily and getting stuck... I hope that helps.

My boss did the same thing, he jammed the micro sd card in the slot with the plug in the slot still. I can't figure out how to get it out. Any suggestions? No place to grab it with a tweazer.

If you can see into the slot, where the plastic cover is? A very fine screw about an inch long might be able to pierce the cover, and grab onto it enough to pull it out. You'd have to be really careful to make sure your screw's point is hitting just the plastic cover, and not anything else-- power the pad off, first, just in case (to avoid shorting things in there with a metal screw).

Another possibility would be a fine, but strong piece of metal wire--like piano wire-- bent into a hook shape, to "fish" for the cover-- again? Power your tablet completely off first.

    Same problem here!
Have managed to remove it with a very small and thin knife.
Problem is, now the reader doesn't seem to be working.
MicroSD fits OK, but the Android does not recognize it.
If inserted in the SD slot (with and adapter) the memory works fine.

    Any suggestions????

    Thanks in advance!

willypiva, I have the EXACT same issue! Card got stuck, got it out, but no longer recognizes any sd card inserted - and those same cards work fine in other devices. I've tried leaving sd card in, turning off device and turning back on, but not luck. Also scoured web, no luck there either. Help! :-)

Hi I've just gotten my micro sd card stuck but luckily got it out with tweezers. I'm now worried it will get jammed again. It feels springy but seems I need to push it in really far without it clicking in so I've stopped before it goes too far in. Do you guys need to push yours in all the way flat against the case for it to click? Thanks
