    Video playback issues

I'm having issues with watching videos on my prime.

    1) when I try and copy "mkv" files over my windows explorer shuts down without completing the process
    2) when I convert the "mkv" to an "mp4" the sound is so low (even with the volume on the prime turned up full) that I can't really watch the videos.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    Welcome to the forum

On the file transfer issue, rename the file to mp4 or mp3, transfer then rename.

On the conversion/sound issue what player are you using and what did you use to convert?

    Hi there!

Unfortunatelly depending the format of the videos you may have specially on mkv format converted from a
blu-ray rip videos with the 6 channels of audio/sound experiencing a chopped video play.
The current decoders can't handle all this embeded data as fast as you like to see when your video is playing

Currently I have the following video players on my TF101.

    BS Player lite
    MX Video player
    MOBO Player
Just try to play with their settings in order to find the optimal setting for your movies/videos.
All three do their job prety good. MX has personally a better performance of those 3.

You may have to download again and reinstall your Eee Pad PC suite software and get the latest update in order to be able to transfer your files
between your windos PC and your tablet.

Hope this helps with your problem.

    Cheers
