    This will happen with a OTA firmware update. If it isn't happening automatically for you, then go to
    settings - about tablet - system firmware updates - check for updates

    It can also be done manually by going to the Prime support site and downloading the latest firmware (9.4.2.7) for your model (TW, US or WW) and then doing a manual update (see the "Manual Update" link in my signature).

    Here is the link to the ASUS support site: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Eee- ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201

    I am keen to update manual to 9.4.2.7 as the OTA is still unavailable. Whilst i have followed your instruction im struggling to make the prime pick up the update. Could you let me know where im going wrong. I have download the update from ASUS website, upzipped the 1st zipped file, so we have WW_epad-user-9.4.2.7.zip. I have saved this to my SD card, do I neeed to place this in a folder structure? Ive tried folder strcutre ASUS>Update>WW_epad-user-9.4.2.7.zip. Then what? I've tried clicking check update but no joy. Help.

    This is what I followed, but when inserting sd card with folder structure and update ASUS>Update>WW_epad-user-9.4.2.7.zip, nothing happens? What next?

    Did you do a hard reset after inserting the SD Card?

    I think you missed this bit?

    2. Unzip the file and copy the “Asus” folder into the root directory of the Micro SD card.

    4. Insert the MicroSD card in the slot. Once MicroSD card is detected, a blinking exclamation mark should appear at the bottom of the main screen, next to the clock.

    5. Tap on it in order to bring up the update wizard.

    @geeup77
    Thats all I know. A hard reset on the Prime is done using the little reset hole on the side of the case next to the microSD

    Edit
    Others have posted while writing this, so I see you didn't follow everything in that thread, cos you hadn't done a hard reset mentioned in post 15. This will NOT delete any data.
    To do this succesfully, you MUST follow the instructions EXACTLY.
    Good luck
