What the heck happened?? Swiping from homescreen now glitchy.

Hi guys, im new to the Android Arena and definitely new to the Prime.. (got mine about 2 weeks ago). Im really loving it, i think its a fantastic tablet!! I primary use it for messing around on the internet, games etc etc.. nothing too crazy. So anyway, onto my problem..

So as far as i can tell this seems to have happened AFTER the GPS update to v6.9.13-
When im at my homescreen and swiping back and forth i notice that its REAL Glitchy.. sometimes the swipe bounces back to the page i was originally on sometimes it sorta flickers on its way to the next screen. I notice that its more prominant on the screen that has all of my game shortcuts on... (only 14 icons)...

2 part question- Has anyone seen this behavior and .. can Updates such as the one that was applied for the GPS be uninstalled??

Welcome to the forum. Just tried that (I don't swipe any more) and did see some quirky behavior but not crazy. There is a section at the edge of the screen that allows you to simply tap to change screens which is why I don't swipe screen to screen any more Taping is just quicker and easier imo.

Yeah, i knew that thanks though..... When i do it that way, the same thing happens, there s a clear hesitation as the screen scrolls from page to page (specifically from the home page to the fist page thats LEFT of the home page and then again back to the home page). Any pages to the right of the home page and back to the home page from there are smooth as silk...

I've removed any unused games from that screen but that made no difference..

Anyone have any ideas?

Mine moves smoothly. I would potentially look at live wallpapers or widgets to see if they may be causing a problem.
