How can I get rid of pictures I download from my Picassa account?

I did not mean to sync my Prime with the pictures on my Picassa Web. How can I delete the pictures from my tablet. The few pictures I want to keep, I want stored on my micro-sd card. How can I move them to the card?
    Thanks...
    Randy

Brooks99 - welcome to the forum.

Sorry that no-one was able to answer your question before this, but while I have zero experience with Picasa, you can download many different file managers from the android market if the built in file manager app will not do this for you.

Different ones are Astro, ES File manager, File Manager HD.

Perhaps you could try these, and then when you have the pictures you want to keep you can just uninstall the Picasa app.

PLEASE Search for existing threads before posting a new one. Thanks.

Does anyone know where these files are stored on the transformer? I think I have looked at each file folder on the device, but I do not see where the albums and pictures are stored.

I have this issue with my TF101 and I dislike that it syncs the photos without me wanting them sync'd (checkbox in settings is only for automatic background syncing). Since I have a hatred for the "Gallery" app (cannot change the sort order to Oldest First) I have switched to QuickPic and the picasa photos are still there in the Gallery, I just do not have to look at them.

Here's what I did to remove them. I don't use Picasa other than for my one Google profile picture. That picture kept getting loaded to my Prime. First I went to my picasa web album and deleted the album. There was also a scrapbook album I deleted that had no photos but was showing under my gallery. Next I went to my Prime and went to Settings>Accounts&Sync>mygoogleaccount>Menu>Sync now. Since Picasa web albums is defaulted to sync this caused my Prime to sync with Picasa which now had no photos present. Once I did that they were removed from my gallery. Then I turned off syncing to Picasa since it had just synced and had no albums or photos to sync. Once I turned off syncing I went back to my google profile and readded the picture and since my Prime is no longer syncing with Picasa it will not download those photos any more.

I am not sure how to go about doing it if you have a lot of photos on Picasa that you cannot easily delete then re-add. Maybe there is a setting to hide them that when synced will not bring them over and instead remove them from your Prime. However, I am not sure how to get them off your prime without deleting them from Picasa and then syncing.

I could not find anywhere on my Prime where the photos were being kept. I did find one image cache that when I deleted it did remove the photoes from my Prime's gallery but the albums remained. They were just empty albums with no way to delete them. I think that was under /sdcard/Android/data/com.android.gallery3d. I deleted that cache but the albums remained.

I also tried to delete the files under the gallery3d with the same results. I finally downloaded the QickPic program and placed it on my home page since it only shows what is on my microSD card.
    Thanks for all the suggestions!
