    Cannot sync outlook calendar.

I have been syncing my pc and Tf201 weekly for a couple of years. Today when I connect I can only sync contacts and cannot check the calendar. I have reinstalled asus sync on my PV (W7) to no avail. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

What type of account are you using in Outlook? Which version of Outlook? Who provides the mailbox?

Usually, one connects Outlook and the Android device to the same mailbox and sync that way.

Hi. Outlook 2007. Not sure what you mean by which type of account and which mailbox. I have been syncing for a while and suddenly when I connect the tablet to the pc and open asus sync on both, only the contacts are checked and I cannot check the calendar. I suspect it might be a setting in Outlook but I am unsure. Thanks for taking the time to help me.

You'll likely find that MS have moved Outlook along and your long in the tooth Prime and Asus Sync software are no longer compatible.

Try syncing your MS Calendar with your Google calendar and use that instead on your Prime.

    Something like this...

"On an Android phone or tablet, add the Outlook.com email app from the Google Play Store. It reads the Outlook.com Calendar and merges it with the one on the device. This means that no matter which calendar an appointment or event is added to, it appears in the Android Calendar app. It does not sync calendars and make them identical, it just looks that way and the Android app can read Outlook.com Calendar, but not write to it."

Actually, you don't need any extra apps. If you have an Outlook.com account, you can add it directly in Settings>Accounts as an Outlook.com account and the built-in Email, Calendar, and People apps will work with it just fine. I prefer the built-in apps to the Outlook for Android app and it will still show you both the Google and the Outlook.com calendars within the Calendar app.
