Power button only does a shutdown...what about restart or sleep or....
On my old, Pre-Prime, tablet when pushed the power button I got a menu of a number of items such as 'Power off' 'Restart' 'Sleep' and a couple of other options that I can't remember. Is there a way to do that on the Prime? Was that related to Android before ICS, or is it not version related and was related to the tablet.
Thanks and Happy Monday!

I believe that if you hold down the power button for 10 seconds while it is on it will restart the Prime. If you just give the power button a quick press it will sleep. Depressing the button for 2 seconds gives you the option to shut down. I'm not sure of any other options.

I'm assuming your auto-correct change it from 'rom' to 'from'. I think a 'custom from' would be a gift FROM someone that they customized???

AFAIK
Hold the power button down - the device will reboot
Tap the power button, the screen will turn off or on
Press the power button to turn the tablet off

That's all mine has ever done too.

I have not run a stock ROM recently, but when I was, a 3 second press of the power button would give a menu for REBOOT or POWER OFF.
Has this changed?

I don't think so.

Quite decisive if I must say.

So, does it give the menu or not?

I have always got the shutdown option with a long press, so no change at all as far as I can tell.
