Have had enough of the primes inability to stay switched off.

I have had my prime for a few months now and everything was working well until v14 of the firmware. Since then the prime just will not stay off although I am closing all apps before shutting it down. Is anyone else having this issue?

I've never had the issue on my Transformer
    On my android phone, yes
It took me about 3 days to track down the app causing it
It's annoying the developers that think you want their app to check a web site and then turn screen on,because the info is so important.
Mine were social media apps, don't remember which ones.

There are a number of threads dealing with this on the forum, do a search and check them out.

The problem is not turning screen on, that is obviously when the tablet is switched on anyway; my issue is that when I turn the tablet off and starts itself back up again. It's getting on my nerves.

Is it doing it when on the charger, or off?
If on the charger, then Check your power supply, android devices will turn themselves on when first plugged into the charger, perhaps the charger is the problem.

It is not connected to the charger and I have done a hard reset before v21. I just tried a recommendation on here to turn ASUS Quick Setting off and it hasn't booted back up since so fingers crossed.

The other thing I have done is go to Settings> Apps> All> Tegra Zone and disable this app, I find it caused many issues on my Transformer.

I had downloaded the new April 6 update and had problems with that, so I uninstalled the update and disabled it again
