I need a serious answer please:

I had the TF101 but i traded it away last summer. The reasons why i traded it away were:

    1) ALWAYS crashed when browsing the web. I tried many different web browsers, FF, Opera and Dolphin but they all Forced Stopped. It was very frustrating. How is the Prime? Be honest.

    2) Was not able to play YouTube videos in 720/1080. If i were to embed a 1080 YouTube video in these forums could i watch it on the Prime without it skipping??

I'v been out of the loop, so has ICS come to Prime yet??

Is there a decent working homebru (i forget what it's called for Andriod, basically a JailBreak) for ICS because i HATE the bottom bar in general and i will do anything to remove it.

It sounds as if a part of your problem was your WiFi router rather than the Transformer. Those symptoms are a classic definition of a poor signal. ICS is on both the original TF and the Prime and is rootable if you decide to get your feet wet again. There are also alternate ROMs available which I think is a part of what you were asking.

Router problems may cause stuttering video due to low bandwidth, high packet loss, etc., but the router isn't responsible for browser crashes. Sounds like you had some other issues going on. I assume in part 2 of the original post, you mean stuttering problems. As to whether or not you can play 1080p videos with the prime; that depends on how far you are from the router. I would advise you to spend some time researching these and XDA developers forums regarding weak wifi reception with the Prime. On the bright side, there are supposed to be exciting new developments regarding the Prime in the near future. Speculation is that it involves new hardware to remedy the poor wifi. Whether or not that is true remains to be seen. Here's a link regarding the developments about the Prime.

Actually there have been a number of cases where browser crashes have been tied directly to a bad router configuration, even if there may also have initially been other causes. There have been dozens of browser crash issues that were solved by a router configuration change right here on this forum.

Hey Leeshor, in your reply you mention "alternate ROMs available..." Where can I find them?

Check out the development section of the forum, Here It may require some digging but there is a lot of good info there.

All 3 of our Primes had browser crashes and this is with two different routers, both configured properly. This was with the default browser and Dolphin although it seemed to happen less often with Dolphin
