    hiding from the kids

My boy is 11 and recons himself a tech genius (not). My girl is 9 and autistic. but uses computers and her Ipad on a regular basis. Occasionally when someone (Wife,Son,Daughter) personal device bites the dust they may need to use mine to check email, facebook, something ect.

I may have a file or two (movie) or a site or two that I do not want them to be able to see. I have historically hidden things in a file I named "Tax stuff" sneaky right? But as my brood gets older I would like a more secure way to hide certain things. specifically book marks and vid files. I know I can lock my tab, but if they need to use it's difficult to say no you cant check your email ect.

    any idea's??

I seem to remember seeing an app on the Market that would allow you to store bookmarks on the removable microSD. Everything else you mentioned shouldn't be a problem storing there. Just take it with you.

According to my knowledge i know two methods,
    1. Use Apps locker.
    2. Use SD/ phone memory card file hidding app.

After you lock apps using app locker, if anyone try to open locked app, this tool request special password that you already setup. If you use android file hiding application they are not visible file browser and gallery. For maximum protection first hide files that you want then lock file hiding app using app locker.

Setup Face Recognition App Unlock, Lock Android 2.2 Or Above [3 App]

Hide Android's SD Card Folders, Files Quickly And Easily Free [Gallery].

So if these app will help full to you.

    One app locker better!
App lock with face recognition:- https://market.android.com/details?i...don.AppLock%20
App lock with face recognition:- https://market.android.com/details?i...iket.facerecog
App lock only password :- https://market.android.com/details?i...protector.free

    File hiding:- https://market.android.com/details?i...i.hermit.hider

    Thanks!

I find it very easy to say NO! Its mine, you have your own device, leave MINE ALONE!
Other than that you can make files hidden by putting a period before them so the gallery wont pick up on them then use a file manager that shows hidden files and simply use applocker to lock the file manager.
