When I connect the Prime to my TV with the microHDMI I don't get the full picture of what is on the tablet. It is about a quarter of an inch all the way around of what is displayed on the tablet. So none of the toolbar on the bottom and all around the other edges. On movies I can do a different format display or not worry about it, but it sort of bothers me on the home screen because I have a bluetooth mouse and use it from across the room and can't click in the right places or see when something pops up.
Any way to resolve this? I checked on my TV for format setting and nothing when I am connected via HDMI.
fairly sure this has to do with over and underscan of the tv. same thing happens when you connect a pc to your tv, only, gpu drivers have built in scaling functions to help compensate. pretty sure the transformer doesn't have that ability

@Detection:The Prime output full 1080P , with 3D ability in supported games - HDMI 1.4a.
it is a feature not to show up the toolbar below , maybe. because it is cutting only the space that is not used in anyway - toolbar and empty edges.
So the bottom line it is a feature in ICS or Tegra 3

Your HDTV is 16:9 aspect ratio. The screen size of the prime WITH the bar at the bottom is 16:10. Without the bar, it is 16:9. They remove the bar from being displayed like a previous poster stated so that the full 16:9 image can be accurately replicated on the HDTV.
