Dropped my prime and now screen won't turn on.

I dropped my prime today and now the screen won't turn on... when I connect it to my laptop I can see the files on the device but no screen, so I took it apart to check for any loose connections and everything seems to be good, unplugged the battery and plugged back in still nothing, any suggestions?

Have you tried a hard reset? Just wondering how you separated the glued section. Did you use a het gun?

forgot to add that I dropped it from a counter top to a carpet floor no visible outside damage.

Jeffery: I would imagine that physically disconnecting the battery would qualify for a hard reset. as far as glue and heat gun, there is no need for a heat gun to seperate it, it's very simple comes apart in about 2 mins

The hard reset reloads the OS and may help. The teardown videos seem to indicate there is a section that is glued. Good to know that it easily comes apart.

Press the reset button next to the SD slot. If it works the screen will come on

Good News did some more looking and taking apart and found burried under the battery and tape a connection that must have come loose when it fell so reconnected it and it works perfect I've attached a picture with the problem wire circledIMG_8233.jpg
