32 GB CG TF201 Serial # BCOKASO***** - Returned
64 GB CG TF201 Serial # C1OKASO*****
I'm new to the forum and don't know anything about posting of forums anyway. I could really use some help though. I have a tf101. I dropped it. It sure didn't seem like it took enough of a hit to screw it up but it did. The screen won't come on. It still makes the tone signal when an email comes in so I know there's life in there.
Can anyone tell me how much of a hassle it is to send it back for repairs? How long they take to return it? How expensive it is? And will the data that's on it will still be on it when I get it back? The main thing I worry about it the gps mileage logger. I have a lot of business trips on there and I don't want to lose that data.
Wnen I plug in to my desktop all the files show up. Is there a way to copy everything to the laptop before I send it to ASUS?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have the standard tf101. Mine dropped on the top right corner. Not much of a hit...barely even marked the bezel..It's doing the same thing. It does not turn on. I can see the onboard files and the sd card on my laptop. I get the tone from it when emails come in so I know there's life in there. Would it be likely that the same plug would be my issue?
I made this suggestion before and at least one person has success...connect your TF to a TV using HDMI cable and see if you can at least get video thataway....then maybe you can back it up before you send it in.

I'm having the same problem with my tf101. Will this trick do the same. I can reset it by pressing the down volume key while also holding the power button. I can hear it rebooting, and also when i plug a charger in it. But no response from the screen.
