Ouch....mine Sandisk 32G card sticks out....does not push in all the way. Not entirely happy with how sloppy the alignment hole is either as you have to pay extra attention when you insert to line it up properly (gently insert till you have it right).

At least the dock SD card is flush. Have another 32G in there with my movies.

Old saying definitely applies here, if it don't fit don't force it! It should slide in/out very easily. If you get the least bit of resistance, STOP pushing, start over or it will hang up in the slot.

It happens to a lot of us. I plucked mine back out with a jewelers screwdriver by catching it on the edge of the cards raised portion that runs along the top.

I think I put it in upside down. At first it only went in so far, but then it wasnt being picked up by the Prime so I took it out and tried it again making sure I couldnt see any of the pins then wham it went all the way in. I wasnt pushing that hard on it.
Asus should have included a diagram showing correct way to inset device. I have seldom used such devices before.
Now i will have to return Prime to Asus. They will have take it apart. There is only a tiny bit of the device sticking out of the prime. Nothing mush to grab hold of. Too much force will simply crush the device or damage the Asus.
