Will the 64GB Micro SD cards work with the Prime?

    Hey folks,

Just picked up my Prime a couple days ago and I've been looking online at Micro SD cards. Found out there is a 64GB card that is relatively new. As I understand it, the 64GB cards are SDXC format, while the 32GB cards are SDHC. I know the Prime supports the 32GB cards, but how about the 64GB?

Yes, no problem with a 64GB card if it is a good quality card from a major manufacturer. Best look for at least a card that states it is class 4 for storage or 6 for playing videos.

Has anyone else added a 64gb card to either their tablet or dock?

Plenty of folks have. Just not in this thread. I have a 64 GB in my TF101. Works perfectly.

If you want to be absolutely sure that a 64gb card is supported, it's best that you get the ipad. The ipad's micro-sd card slot supports up to 1TB card.

GI, now you're going to get every iPad owner (with the exception of Mickeylittle who knows better) looking all over their tabs for that elusive micro-sd slot!

I'm also told that if you do insert a microSD card into the ipad? It automatically updates all your profiles world-wide, with the latest news and information. And for free (except for the 30% fees) too!

And let's not forget that if everyone gets an ipad? World peace will immediately ensue, followed by an end of child hunger, and every cat in the world gets a free knitted sweater too. Whether they like it or not.
