I'm in the market for a tablet and seriously considering the transformer prime. Can anyone tell me how i can make sure the unit i buy does not come with a wifi problem?
I would not even consider the Prime. If you must buy an ASUS product, pick another model and give a try.
Hi davejm53. Looks liek youhave one. What don't you like about it?
Hi miks. I would go and buy one localy. Use if for a bit, just test it out. and if it does have the issues, take it back. I love my prime! I use mine more then I use my laptop. I don't think I would get any other tab. Just my opinion

I just got this reply from ASUS support regarding why I can't stream audio/video to my bluetooth speakers -- trying to decide if I even want to wait for possible solution, or just try to get my money back. Any thoughts ?

Hello:
The BT and WIFI is controlled by a single chip therefore, both are utilizing the same antenna for connections. While streaming, WIFI or BT speed or bandwidth connection will be affected and may cause connection to drop depending which device has the priority on the network. A possible software patch, driver or firmware update may resolve the issue and will improve connectivity, there is no guarantee that this may happen. Our Software Team is looking into this and a hot fix may be available soon. Meanwhile, we recommend not using both WIFI and BT simultaneously to avoid connection drop.
Thank You,

Tried the dongle last night the GPS worked, although i didn't actually travel with it. It "seemed" to also help my Wi-fi issues at home, BUT the battery
life with the dongle in place was half what it should be. So when my battery died i had to unplug the dongle and plug in the charger and my Wi-fi
issues came back. It would have made sense to have a thru put into the charger port so we could at least charge the thing. So i guess if I’m using
it for navigation i better get to my destination before my battery dies.
Can some body explain to what BT means to me? I see it on several post but I'm not sure what it means. The only BT i know about is Bit Torrent.
