USB Adapter

Okay, thanks for the feedback.. I have a 1.5tb external drive with about 800gb full of media . now I just need for the adapter come in.

I was wondering if anyone with this adapter had tried to see if they can connect a android phone (Bionic in my case) to pass data and charge the phone.

This works on the USB port on the dock. It recognizes the phone as an external drive and also charges it. Of course this will drain the battery on the ATP a little quicker but it does provide me with a way to share data between the android devices (pictures, music etc) quickly.

Is this feature only with the dock or does the USB adapter provide the same function?

For the heck of it I connected my Samsung Galaxy Nexus to the USB port in my Prime Dock. To my surprise it started charging the phone. It also said it was connected in USB mode but using File Manager on the Prime I was unable to see the SGN. Not sure if this would work the same via the USB adapter but I expect it would. Given more time, I'll see if I can see the files on the SGN.
