    CAlled CS and they gave me a new RMA? wow
    They got it and it is in their system. It shows that they are waiting for parts to fix it. This is prolly the first Prime in Canada to get fixed and have no clue how to fix it I'm sure they have exp on the original Transformer.
    at least I can see what is done now.

    The "waiting on parts" thing intrigues me. If you don't mind my asking, what issue did you send it in with? (*please say wifi! please say wifi* ;-))

    Wow... So there are parts they need.

    Im guessing that they're replacing the Antennae on the prime.

    It's the only part that would make a difference.

    Unless we're lucky and they really are replacing the backplate.

    Does Canada have better consumer protection laws than the US? I know that when Sony pulled linux from the PS3, people in the UK got some recompense. Maybe they will only fix in Canada ;-p *goes away as he is being negative*

    Aaron from Asus called me today. ( I had written two emails to folks at Asus.)

    He wants to take a look at my tablet, and he hoped he could fix it. It sounds to me like there is a "wifi card" issue with some of the Primes.

    He created a RMA return through FedEx for me. I tried to get him to let me deliver it to save time, as I live in the same city, but he said they do not let customers deliver them directly. So, it will arrive at Asus, in next day or two, Wednesday or Thursday. Aaron said it would take 3-5 days for them to take a look at it and fix. Aaron is going to call after they take a look at it.

    So, stay tuned, I will keep you posted.
