    ASUS doesn't care

    I've been having the same issue as many others with regard to the prime not charging properly. Asus is unwilling to send me out a new charging cable, instead they want me to send it to them to have it repaired with an estimated 2-3 weeks repair time. What repair time? They're just gonna chuck out the cable and send out another one. Can't they just send out a new cable for a known issue without me having to send the broken one first?

    I can't even exchange it at place i bought it as they aren't receiving any new units anytime soon. My only option at this point is to return it. Is it normal for a company to tell me my best option is to return their product?

    Does anyone know someone at Asus that i can speak to regarding this issue? The customer service line doesn't allow you to speak to a manager.

    How do you know its the cable and not a battery issue? Its not about caring, Asus Repair is just following protocol.

    That's something most company's would say. Something doesn't work and you want them to send you a new one..
    for free, hoping you aren't lying to get another charger.

    Perhaps ebay might have a cable you could purchase just to test it out .

    Why would i pay to get a newcablejust to check.... its clearly a bad cable if i pull it out slightly it sometimes works

    That sounds like it could be either your cable or the charging port. Why would you expect them to send out a new cable base on you thinking it is a bad cable. There are threads and threads on here of people messing up the cables on their own. With your logic every one of them would be able to call Asus and say they have a bad cable and get a new one sent out no questions asked. That is not how businesses stay in business.
