Is there a single seller on that list that is taking preorders on 64GB versions that I'm not seeing? I see J&R has it, but it isn't on that list.

Here's what frustrates me... I don't know if I should cancel my pre-order with Amazon (32gb champagne) and order it somewhere off this list, or just hope that they aren't canceling everything..

Real issue is what is the total shipped for pre orders

One insider claimed BB had 148 total for the US pre-order, whaterver it is they never closed their on line ordering. They did the same thing on IPAD 2 along with in-store wait lists and very few people ever got a thing, Amazon drops a chunk of what they accepted, saying the supplier did not have enough to meet the demand. I believe that there is a set # of units for US sales and that is why you see so few stores listed in the US. I would trust B&H and NewEgg because they both have a great track records and limited what they accepted. Amazon is great and immediately notified customers who were beyond there new total available. If someone would say 5000 set for pre-orders and 10000 set for in store sales it would help but no one is saying anything. ASUS has a history of big hype and low initial volume. I still want one but I will wait for the dust to settle.

    Hi,
New to the forum, been following it for about a week. Ordered the 64GB transformer grey with keyboard and 2 year extended warranty from Tiger Direct and just received the following in an email:
"Due to an unusually large response, we are temporarily out of stock on the item(s) listed below. Additional quantities are on order and we expect them soon. Your order will receive priority upon receipt in our warehouse and we expect to be able to ship your order very soon. We are very sorry for the delay and assure you that we are making every effort to speed your order to you. If you would like to cancel or substitute your item please give us a call at 1-800-800-8300."

At least they have not canceled the order as some have indicated from Amazon.

Well, maybe if a some people had not placed 2-3 pre-orders with different retailers, just to pick the one who delivers the fastest, the pre-order numbers would not be so high.

    Just a thought.

Well those of us that chose to do only 1 preorder with Amazon are completely screwed. I'm kicking myself that I didn't pre-order though Best Buy and maybe another site as well. As it turns out by only placing 1 preorder, I appear to have ruined any possibility of having this tablet before my Christmas trip.

    Feels bad man
