Quick question while the firmware is downloading. I do not have a MicroSD card, I do have a regular SD card and the keyboard. I see the directions mention I can put it directly into the /sdcard directory (internal storage), but doesn't mention how to run it from there. Will the OS automatically recognize it once I have copied it unzipped over from my PC via the USB cable?

We you put the firmware onto the internal storage and reboot, the tablet may or may not recognize it. If it does you will get a notification about it.

You cannot use the dock SD card slot to install firmware. You will need a micro SD card for the second option.

Well I got it to recognize the firmware update on the SDcard. Set it to update, it rebooted, went to the android screen then the asus eee firmware loading screen. At that point I left it and went onto my computer. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the screen change to the one with Wipe data and Android but this time with some red letters. Before I could read them, the device shutdown.

Now I cannot get the device to turn on at all...

When I hold down the power button for a few seconds, the tablet will vibrate but nothing after that

Ouch. Can you connect it up to power? Try the power and volume combination.

I'd guess you may have run out if battery in the middle of the installation. Best would be to plug it in to power and leave it for a while.

When I connect it to my computer, it can tell something is connected but cannot recognize the USB device.
