    Angry HELP using stock recovery

    Hi,

I am on a rather delicate situation with my Transformer Prime. I need to downgrade it from Jelly Bean to ICS, but I am completely stock (only unlocked bootloader), and the connector is damaged in such a way that it won't connect to the PC at all, so I can't flash CWM over Fastboot. My only chance is to use the stock recovery, but whenever I try to downgrade via an ASUS Firmware package on an external SD Card (connected to my keyboard dock), I get the dead Android image. Can anyone help me to learn how to use stock recovery?

    Thanks in advance

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but if you can't get your tablet connected to a PC I don't think there is much you can do.

Yes, I thought that would be the case... I know that many people managed to downgrade to ICS on a Transformer Pad Infinity, but since I tried exactly the same method on my Prime and it didn't work, I was hoping there was some other way of updating/downgrading via the Transformer Prime's stock recovery.

AFAIK, the only way to downgrade is to either use a custom recovery, or to flash an older stock recovery for ICS and then update the firmware. Either way, you need ADB via USB to make it work.
