Cannot root since upgrade to JB

    Bought my 201 yesterday.

Unlocked, rooted and installed 4.1.1 yesterday but having problems since. ROM is working fine but I'm a tinkerer (Galaxy S, S2 and now S3). Would like to try out a few other ROMs before deciding on what works best for me. It says it's unlocked when it boots up but I cannot for the life of me work out how to root it now it's on jellybean. I've tried the same method I used before (rootdebugfs and vipermod 4.6) and even tried a rooter for tf101. Consequently I cannot install CWM.

Any ideas guys? Or do I need to flash back to the base rom that came with the 201, then unlock, root and reflash with a new rom such as Cm10 every time? That would be a major ballache if so.

According tot he guys on XDA-Developers forum, no one has a root method for the TF-201 with JB 10.4.2.18. I have been looking for one but no luck so far.
The only way I know is to go back to ICS then root and try some fo the root keeper apps.

The best way to get root if you have done the OTA upgrade to 4.1.1 is to use the method outline in the following link at the XDA forum.

    Hey guys,
I just came across this method that's suppose to work for locked devices that have been previously rooted:

Root Transformer Prime After Jellybean 4.1.1 Update Matt Hill

has anyone tried this? Based on the comment section this apparently only worked for the guy who wrote it...

That was the method I used. It worked well. Thanks.

You can't root JB firmware without unlocking the bootloader, update broke wolf's exploit. AFAIK
