Is my prime now a paperweight?

Hello everyone, I left town for a few days and let my cousin borrow my prime. He decided while I was gone to try to flash AndroWook's Hairy Bean and that resulted in the tablet being stuck on the boot animation screen. Using adb he pushed virtious prime to the tablet and got the same results. After trying to fix it for a few hours he now has the Prime completely wiped with nothing but fastboot on it! I try to boot into recovery and it just boots straight into fastboot. Also fastboot only has two icons, usb icon and wipe data icon. I tried using adb and can't get it to show up with adb devices or fastboot devices commands. I've tried the universal naked driver, the drivers for the prime from asus. I can't get the damn thing to show up in the command line. I have android sdk installed and it is working right but I cannot figure this one out. Can anyone out there help me please?

Another shoot your (fill in the blank) story.

Seriously, someone here will probably be able to walk you through bringing it back to the real world.

You have to uninstall any other drivers before you can use the universal drivers or they will interfere. Go to this link and follow instructions in post# 268. Hope this helps you.

I've already tried that. I get an error message saying it couldn't flash the image. I can't get fastboot to see my device. I've uninstalled the drivers and installed the universal drivers but I still cant get the computer to see my tablet.

Try using a different USB cable. I was helping another person and it was the cable. They do go bad.

I tried the method in post 268 again. It looked like it worked but when I try to boot into recovery it still goes straight into fastboot. It still won't show up in adb devices. When I use fastboot devices it used to say 00000 fastboot, now it says ???????????? fastboot. any ideas?

Try this link and try the method in post #341. It may work, it sounds like a type 3 brick which is tricky and can end up in a hard brick.

Anyone know where I can find Roach's modified CWM Touch Recovery? I get to that part but can't find it. Google isn't helping me here.

Any distribution? Or is there one better suited for this than others?
