    Want to root your prime?

With a exploit discovered by TeamAndIRC, integrated into a very friendly application created by -viperboy-, named viperMOD, anyone can now root the quad core ASUS Transformer Prime tablet.

The utility program can be downloaded for free ( dev-host.org/1bjxs7yve3ni/viperMOD_Primer.zip ) and the few easy steps required can be found by accessing: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21009605

NachoRoot has been out for a week or so, but you have to use ADB to do it. Also, NachoRoot works on the latest firmware of the TF101, TF101G, SL101 and TF201.

NachoRoot for the Prime was only released on Tuesday, but yes, it works on all Eee Pads. Also, the viper tool eliminates the need for ADB.

Got it turns out when I plugged the usb in windows 7 was detecting it twice as Transformer prime docking device and Transformer prime ADB in device manager, had to uninstall the docking device one then it worked like a charm. Thanks for the response thats how I discovered what was going on.
