Docking keyboard or Bluetooth keyboard? Which are you using?

I really like my docking keyboard and the fact that it charges the tablet, has extra storage and the USB connection. I probably just influenced my own final decision with the afore-mentioned, but I would like to get the opinions of those who use the dock for long periods of typing. Are you pretty comfortable typing on it o did you decide to go with a Bluetooth keyboard? If so, did you choose a standard size one, a smaller one, or even one that comes in a case that will also hold the tablet? On the other hand, has anyone found that over time it becomes easier to type for long periods with the the dock and you get more comfortable with it? TIA

I don't think anyone who bought a transformer is going to use a Bluetooth keyboard and if your going to then you really didn't need to buy a transformer.

To play devil's advocate, I've been having a similar debate even before I purchased the tablet. The transformer (regardless of the model) has a lot going for it as a stand-alone device even when compared to other manufacturer's tablets. The main thing that is steering me towards the keyboard dock as opposed to a bluetooth keyboard though is that for only around $40-60 more I get so much more than just a keyboard. With ASUS certified refurbished/open-box keyboards going for $100 online and bluetooth keyboards sitting around $40-$50, why not squeeze a little more juice out of the pocketbook for the extra battery, ports, and touch pad.

Maybe one improvement ASUS could consider in the future is the addition of a bluetooth chip in the keyboard so that the dock can be used independently of the tab when the tab is hooked up to a tv.

*sigh* Thanks, FXSarge, for replying but your answer did not address my question; perhaps I wasn't clear enough in my question . And as MA83 poster points out, there are plenty of reasons to buy the Prime other than the docking keyboard. I do like the keyboard and probably will stick with it because of the way it connects to the tablet and its other features and just take breaks from long periods of typing. I can always get a Bluetooth keyboard to use with it when I feel I need more finger-spreading room.

Let's just consider it a closed thread.

I like my docking keyboard, not as great as a full size but pretty good for most uses. It will grow on you with time, but occasionally I hit the wrong key while typing fast :-(

It would be great if you could BT it like MA83 suggested.

I own both the keyboard dock and a Bluetooth keyboard.
The Bluetooth I use is a Perixx from Amazon, it's the same length as the Transformer and 5" high.
Despite it's size it is a very good keyboard, the way it's designed the keys take up almost the entire face.

It fit easily into my Murse and the charge lasted weeks, I enjoyed typing on it.
The only issue was that I needed something to prop my Transformer against.
I used an old fashion folding wire book stand.

I just don't see a reason to consider a Bluetooth keyboard except for when its plugged into a TV ( sweet idea with the dock though and adding Bluetooth) I just don't see a point in having to lug around a keyboard that's separate from the tablet, if I use my dock I just take the case off of it and use it as it and leave it connected. Its great if you have like a gum drop case and don't want to take it off every time but that just doesn't bug me.
