Is there any real diff having class 10 over class 4 microSD?
From the perspective of the TF201. Just wondering if it is worth the extra expense.
Thanks

If you are doing pictures or videos I would say yes. In both my cell phone and camera the faster card made a big difference on how well the video is played and the speed that pictures were loaded.

I've use class 4 cards in my phones and tablets
There is a difference in write speed when transferring data from a PC to the card, but we're not talking about hours
I have seen no issues in accessing any data stored on them.
I don't think you would notice any difference in speed
I use my 32gb microsd card to store movies, music, and photos,
Everything plays and displays without problems, no lag, no stuttering, nothing to suggest it's too slow.
I never thought the difference in price was worth it
Now in a camera where everything is about write speed, there is a definitive advantage.

To answer the question as asked in the Original Post...
Yes...there are differences. It's no coincidence the prices are different.
Basically, the Class 10 supports a much faster data transfer speed than the Class 4 counterpart. This may or may not come into play for many data storage needs...but for video (especially large HD video files) and large photo image files...the higher transfer rate assures smooth video/image presentation.
Think of it this way...you can run a car with regular unleaded gas...but premium gas makes the engine run smoother.

Not if it's designed to use Regular.

It has difference but you likely won't even notice them. Just like comparing tegra 3 and tegra 2 for now. Tegra 3 is amazingly fast but for an average user. It's somehow just the same.

Actually..that's only partially true. Higher octane fuel burns more thoroughly even in an older car engine desinged for regular unleaded.
But that's all off topic.
If a user plans on storing video or large photos on their SD Card or microSD card...get at least a Class 6 card...and even better...a Class 10 card. I see those on sale all the time. Shop around, and get a brand name (only) product.

+1
A sandisk ultra class 4 is likely faster than an ADATA class 10.

That might be correct! If i'm not mistaken sd cards were created by sandisk.

Thanks for your opinions folks!
So, I will be shopping around for 32G class 10 microSD. I found a Kingston for about $70.00 so far but I can probably find better.
