BT Headset not found!
I just got a new headset today. The Sony Ericsson HBH-IS800 and my Prime can't locate them. My ipad2 picks them right up and connects fine. I have some Motorola BT headphones that do work on my Prime so I know the BT works. Any ideas before I deal with Sony Ericsson's web site? Yes, I've rebooted and turned the Bluetooth on and off.

As long as you put your headset in pairing mode, can't think of anything else for you to do.

Yeah I've done that. I have no idea why the Prime won't see it. I bought it specifically for the Prime while I'm on the elliptical trying to lose a few pounds.

maybe you need to enter a pairing code?

For your headset model...
You may not have fulfilled all of these detailed guidelines!!! #2 and #3 is surprising. (within 8" of the device to pair? -- and I did not know you would need to make your Prime visible also). I will be getting a headset soon and wanted to research anyway...
How do I pair the Bluetoothâ„¢ headset with my phone?
Before you can use your Bluetoothâ„¢ headset with your phone, it must be paired once with the phone. Follow the instructions in your phone User guide for turning on the Bluetooth function in the phone. After a successful pairing, the headset will automatically connect to the phone as soon as it is turned on and within range.
To pair the headset with your phone:
1.Make sure the headset is turned off.
2.Turn on the Bluetooth function and Bluetooth visibility in your phone (this makes the phone visible to other Bluetooth devices).
3.Place the phone within 20 cm (8 inches) of the headset.
4.Press and hold down the action key on the headset for about 5 seconds until the white indicator light starts flashing and the red/green indicator light flashes red and green.
5.If your phone supports auto pairing, press "Yes" when you're asked to add the headset to the phone. If not, see your phone User guide on how to pair the Bluetooth device. If required, the headset passcode is 0000.
6.The white indicator light stops flashing and the red/green indicator light slowly flashes green when successfully paired.
Note: When in pairing mode, the headset switches off if you don't pair it with the phone within 10 minutes.

Guys I am inches away from the device so I know I am well within range. The device never shows up on my Prime so I cannot even enter the pairing numbers. Its pretty cut and dry I'm wondering at this point if there will possibly be some download from SE for Android 4.0?

For those of you having issues with your tablet pairing, make sure any secondary devices that your headphones or headset is conntected to are turned off. I didn't and felt quite foolish when I figured it out. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 that my Motorola S10 HD bluetooth headphones were paired with and while my phone was on I could not pair those headphones with my TF700T.
