    Looking for a 220 plug

    Hi all,

When I got my transformer in Canada, the power unit had a slip on part that made it 110 V.
I'm guessing that there is a slip on attachment that would have made it a 200 V instead.
I am now in Israel and need of 220 V and don't know where to get it.
Anybody know where I can order from? In Israel or outside?

    Thanks,
    Abe

Look at the voltage & hz range under input on your power charger. If 220 is within that range you can use any old plug adapter that slides over the prongs that you have.

I use my TF in Lithuania (220) with US charger and regular adapter for half a year and everything is fine. You can find simple adapter in any electronic store.

Hello Abe and welcome to the Forum. The charger that came with your TF is 110/220 and can be used worldwide

I also confirm my charger is rated for either 100-240v although you need a microscope to read the rating text on the side

Agree, the adapter will work, just get an adapter to change the plug (usually about $5-10 USD in most countries) and you should be good to go. No need to step it down to 110 V.
