Do the new games support the controllers or is this mainly for old roms and emulators?

My edit: Also, GameStop is packaging a bluetooth controller with it, so why would it not work for the PS3 version?
The Sony Tablet S does this, connect the DS3 with usb wired for the hardware detection, then register the bluetooth, disconnect the usb. It is just a bluetooth registration with a bluetooth peripheral, so if it isn't there already, then it would be a wonder why it wouldn't be in ICS.

shadow gun, riptide (i dont know if they're considered new) does work with my controllers..

now i think about it, i haven't found a game where the controller couldn't work

drop some titles (assuming they're free unless they're really good/quality) and i'll test it out for ya

An unrooted Prime with the dock USB definitely works well with a wired PS3 controller. It is probably going to take ICS to get bluetooth registration unrooted. This is a fairly informative video and he does point out some games don't have the controller key mapping that is needed for 100% compatibility.
