My TF101 works fine with at least 2 blue tooth mice of mine, so there is no reason the Prime wouldn't

I'm looking to get a PS3 controller for the Prime. I've never played/or have a Playstation 3...so, does the controller have a wireless adapter like some mice and keyboards have or is it just the controller?? How does the PS3 controller connect to the Transformer (For the older one)...I've never worked with Bluetooth before so it's kind of new to me

I just went to Best Buy and bought a Dual Shock PS3 Bluetooth controller (Color is Pink - for my sister!). Once Christmas gets here we'll test the controller on the 32GB Transformer Prime. Note: also bought a USB cable for it, because I wasn't sure if the controller ran off of AA or AAA batteries...I saw a port for a Mini-USB B port

The TF101 could use - PS3 controller via USB with the dock.

It could be used wirelessly if you rooted and installed the SixAxis app via Bluetooth.

You mean that I may need to Root the Prime in order to get the controller to work??? I'm new to Android (Nobody in family as used it) and I'm not really comfortable rooting the Prime. The tablet is for my sister.

For the TF101, you need to root to get the PS3 controller to work.

ASUS has stated that the PS3 will work wirelssly with the Prime. It may not be necessary to root the Prime, I was purely stating that for the first generation it was necessary to root to get it working wirelessly.

Someone who has a Prime and a PS3 will have to give the final verdict.
