    Blind spot on touch screen

I have the 701-6g with the Dock
I experiment a lot of strange comportement, and I think I will do a post about all of them.
Anyway, on of them, is a blind spot (line) on the touch screen that happen out of no where.

I have to reboot the pad to have full accees to all the screen.

I do a real intensive use of my tablets.
Taking notes, working on texts, stats, graphics, and so on.

It's for me a real light computer, but I have it since one week, and it's nothing close to my old tf201 was near perfect.
With the 701, I have memory card disconnect (even if the card is in the slot) keyboard disconnect, durring typing, is just annoying....

First try a cold boot if you have not already tried.

Second system reset, make sure you back up all personal data as this puts the TAB in out of box condition.

Third return to retailer for a new one.

check when the dock was made, the older docks have problems with keyboard disconnection although I don't have the 701 I emailed ASUS support and the reply was that "people aren't using it right. there's nothing wrong with it.

The dock and memory card disconnects are pretty well documented on this and other forums. With a screen developing dead zones and whatever other strange things you experience on top of that, the verdict should be clear:
Return and exchange or send it in for warranty repair. None of your problems are normal and they ain't going to get better......
