    Dont know why I put Tf201 as it's a Tf701.

Ive not had time to look at it properly and I'm off to work now so will update later. Sorry.
it is impossible to save data on sd cards (as from office suite), except if data from apps of the tabelt itsefl, it seems to me (as polaris office, as the camera)

I had as well a problem with the battery wich emptied itself when the tablet was off for 3 hours..

I updated last night and there's good news and bad news to report.

The GOOD news: The response time seems even snappier both in UI and inside applications and games!

The BAD news: When I went to sleep my tablet was at 60% battery and when I awoke less than 6 hours later it was down to 20%! Before the update it would take 10+ hours to even go down 1% while sleeping...

Mind you it has only been less than a full day so this could be anomalous.

This type of thing (the bad news) seems to have been the experience on every TF model that gets updated to a new OS - disappointing to read of it yet again.

We have a guide on the recommended way to handle OTA firmware updates - linked from the Master Help Guide (link in my signature, below).

I commend it to you & all other TF701 updaters.

    And welcome to the forum

Blame that on Google. They changed the web browsing engine. They want you to use Chrome which is - you have to give them that - much improved.

When my Galaxy S3 got KitKat, I couldn't copy files to my sdcard using Astro FileManager, but I still could using the stock My Files app. I know Astro and such can't copy to it with this new update, but would the stock FileManager still work, like with my Galaxy? I put all my movies and music on my sd card

So far it is working well. The only thing I found and am investigating is that it seems video playback, from videos ripped from DVD, is choppy on MX player.
Using both a new TF701 and my original TF101 is still going strong

Update on power issue since 4.4.2 update:

Cold rebooted and ended all unnecessary tasks then charged to 100%. Let it sit with WiFi on and only my email app running for 2 hours and it went down to 90%.

Like I said before with 4.3 it would take 10+ hours to go down 1% while the screen was off and that is with the same email app checking mail every 5 minutes!

It is much snappier though, MUCH! Hopefully they address the power use during sleep issue... but of course, how could they? Where to report this issue? I can't seem to find any official forum or bug report form on Asus website.

    @ashrealms...

Did you follow the advice in the best practice guide when you get a change of OS...?

Situations like this generally require a backup, Factory Reset & restore - & that's been the case on every android TF since the TF101...
